How do I assign a bot to my channel?
Our services package includes BotServ, a great tool for any channel. This bot can help protect from flooding, repeaters, CAPS users, etc. On top of that, if you assign a bot, you can use short fantasy commands such as typing “!aop add Nick” in the channel to easily manage channel access lists and settings.
To assign a bot to your channel, you first need to decide on a bot name. While you cannot choose your own bot name, there is a list from which you can choose from. To see this list (prepare for a flood in your irc window), type /bs botlist or click the following link: iPocalypse Bot List.
After determining a bot name, type /bs assign #channel botname – replacing #channel with your channel name and ‘botname’ with the name of the bot that was in the bot list.

Note: We may also add a bot if we have a lot of people requesting the same one.
